Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Russian French Pedicure.

A Russian French Pedicure combines e-file-assisted, meticulous cuticle removal and shaping with a hand-painted French tip. The Russian technique offers deep cleaning and precise prep, while the French finish provides crisp white tips and an elegant, polished appearance.

Most clients experience minimal discomfort; the Russian technique uses electric filing for precise cuticle work rather than aggressive pulling. If you have sensitivity, inform your technician and we will adjust pressure, tools, or choose gentler alternatives for comfort.

Appointments typically take 60 to 90 minutes depending on nail condition, extent of cuticle work, and complexity of the French design. Initial visits may require additional time for corrective shaping or thorough nail preparation.

Remove existing polish if possible, wear open-toed shoes, and come with clean feet. Avoid heavy lotions the day of your appointment and notify us of any foot issues, allergies, or medications so we can tailor the treatment safely.

With proper care, a Russian French Pedicure can last three to six weeks depending on nail growth, activity level, and product choice. Avoid excessive water exposure and wear protective footwear to help maintain polish and crisp white tips.

A salon pedicure cannot medically treat fungal infections. If you suspect a fungal condition, we recommend a medical evaluation first. We maintain strict sanitation and will refer you to a podiatrist or dermatologist if infection is present.
