Most clients enjoy smooth results for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles and hormones. Regular waxing often extends time between appointments as regrowth becomes finer. Schedule follow-ups every four to six weeks for consistent maintenance.
Waxing can cause brief discomfort, especially during initial sessions, but our technicians use fast techniques, calming products, and professional support to reduce pain. Numbing options, controlled breathing, and post-care cooling often make the experience tolerable and quick.
Allow hair to grow about 1/4 to 1/2 inch for optimal wax adhesion. Avoid heavy moisturizers, tanning or exfoliation immediately before your visit. Gently exfoliate 48 hours prior and pause retinoids or harsh treatments to minimize irritation risk.
Active sunburn, open wounds, severe acne, rashes, recent chemical peels, or certain medications like isotretinoin may delay waxing. Our staff reviews medical history and may recommend postponing service or performing a patch test when necessary.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, swimming, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours. Wear breathable clothing, apply a soothing aloe or fragrance-free moisturizer, exfoliate gently after 48–72 hours, and use SPF on exposed skin to protect healing skin.
You can typically wax every four to six weeks depending on your growth rate. Waxing does not make hair grow back thicker; consistent waxing often results in finer, softer regrowth and reduced density over time.
